International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES) exists to meet physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. IDES has expanded to 12 staff members working out of their headquarters in Noblesville, Indiana. They serve in five main focus areas around the world:
• disaster response
• hunger relief
• development and sustainability
• medical care
• evangelism
Central has supported IDES for many years, and have learned to trust their years of experience working with disasters both here and abroad. We recently participated in their GAP food packing program and are planning to participate again in 2020.
