What to Expect

What to Expect

First things first…

First, know that you will be welcomed at Central Christian Church. Our greeters will meet you at the door to answer any questions and to point you in the right direction.

Bring the kids…

We have classes and childcare for all ages, and all of our volunteers are screened and follow a strict set of protocols to make sure your kids are safe and have fun. Any greeter will be able to point you in the right direction and help you get your kids checked in.

Different styles…

We know that no two people are alike, so our two worship services have two distinct styles. Our 8:15 AM service tends to be more traditional (but never stuffy) and our 10:45 AM service leans more to the modern side of things. In both services you will hear Biblical teaching that is applicable to the things that we all face.

Deep traditions…

Just before He died, Jesus celebrated a meal with His followers. A recreation of that meal is celebrated every week at Central during our communion time. The small pieces of bread and cups of grape juice point us to Jesus and help us to focus on His life, death, and resurrection. Our communion time is open to all believers, and not just members of our church.

One last thing…

Don’t worry about how to dress. Some of our members will be in suits and some will be in jeans. Whatever makes you most comfortable is fine with us.

Oh … stop by the Connections Cafe before or after services and introduce yourself if you’d like. We’d love to meet you!
