Sherm and his wife Carrie both graduated from Ozark Christian College where they met. Sherm went on to complete his master’s degree through Cincinnati Bible Seminary. The Nichols have 2 sons in heaven, a daughter and 2 sons on earth, a wonderful son-in-law, wonderful daughter-in-law, and 6 exceptional grandchildren. Brian met his wife, Heidi, at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. After graduating, they spent several years in youth ministry. In 2003, a good friend who was planting a church in Ancona, Italy, asked them to join their work. Two years later, they had the funds needed to go and help plant a church. Brian joined our staff in October 2013.  Prior to moving to Rockford, Brian has served in full-time ministry since 1998.  Brian is passionate about the church and parents working together to build our families to develop and nurture authentic followers of Christ. Lori, a native of Rockford, has been the part-time Children’s Director since June of 2001. Her responsibilities include Pre-school Worship for 2 year-olds through Kindergarten children, overseeing Vacation Bible School, and coordinating special and family events. Lori is married to Scott and they have two daughters, Alyssa and Abigail, and nine grandchildren.
